A new campaign has launched, aiming to provide better heart healthcare - to rural communities across the country

The Hearts of Aotearoa New Zealand programme is aiming to get equipment to rural communities to help pick up diseases - that often go under the radar.

CEO Letitia Harding, says they particularly want to provide tools for detecting and preventing serious heart conditions.

She says their goal is to raise money to provide clinics in rural communities portable machines that can detect heart issues and help prevent serious health problems.
