Further arrests are likely - in the wake of Sydney's anti-lockdown protests

Further arrests are likely - in the wake of Sydney's anti-lockdown protests

Fifty-seven people have been charged following yesterday's demonstrations against tighter Covid-19 rules.

Chaos also occurred on the streets of Melbourne and Brisbane.

New South Wales Police Minister David Elliott is not impressed.

And Premier Gladys Berejiklian is disgusted with the protesters and says they'll be met with the full force of the law.

Police in the state have established a strike force of 22 detectives to track down those who participated in the Sydney protest.
