    More Police are out and about in Ngaruawahia as officers plead for information around a suspected homicide


    Turipapa Tukere has been named as the woman who died after a brawl in the Waikato town on Friday.

    The 42-year-old died before she could be airlifted to hospital, after reports of a number of people fighting on Waipa Esplanade around 1:30 pm last Friday afternoon.

    Police say officers will be carrying out reassurance patrols in the area.

    Acting Detective Inspector Andy Saunders says someone who was at that fight knows who is responsible - he's urging those people to talk to Police.
