    A Police officer's injured after being hit by a car in the Waikato town of Huntly.

    A Police officer's injured after being hit by a car in the Waikato town of Huntly.


    The officer was conducting enquiries at an address around 8pm, when a vehicle hit them and a police car.

    The driver fled, but was later arrested.

    The officer was taken to hospital with a moderate injuries.

    A 47-year-old man is due to appear in court today.
