A baby has died after emergency services were called to a house in Hamilton this morning

Police were called to an address in the suburb of Nawton at about half-past nine and found the baby was unresponsive.

Despite efforts, the baby was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

A spokesperson says Police are still there making inquiries into what happened, however nothing appears to be suspicious at this stage.
