    A military platoon sergeant has been found guilty of assaulting a female subordinate


    Staff sergeant Jeremy Leslie Boyd denied the charges at a Court Martial this week, but has been found guilty of indecent assault and failing to comply with written orders.

    The victim, who cannot be named, testified on Monday.

    She says Boyd initially made a sexually inappropriate remark in 2015, which escalated to an assault in September 2016.

    The Defence Force says Boyd is not presently based at Burnham.
