Auckland Police are asking for help to find a man involved in a suspicious incident outside a Mangere School

Auckland Police are asking for help to find a man involved in a suspicious incident outside a Mangere School

The person approached a child waiting to be picked up outside Sutton Park School on Vine Street just after 3-pm on Monday.

A staff member noticed the interaction and walked up to the man - who retreated to his car and drove off.

Counties Manukau Police posted a video of him and his car on Facebook, which looks like a silver Mazda MPV with roof racks.

Officers want to speak to him to ascertain what happened.

The public's urged to stay vigilant, and report any suspicious behaviour.
