An Auckland traffic stop has led to the discovery of firearms, drugs, and cash

Police stopped a man who was forbidden from drive in New Lynn, and a sawn off shotgun was discovered in his car.

The man's now facing further charges after a search warrant at a Glen Eden address resulted in methamphetamine, cannabis and a cut down rifle with ammo being seized.

The offender's been remanded in custody on the earlier charges, and will reappear in the Waitakere District Court on October 20.
