More than five and a half million text messages were sent on Vodafone's networks on New Years Eve

Data collected by the telecommunications company discovered 90.4 terabytes of mobile data was used across the country, compared to 64.4 last year.
That's the equivalent of streaming 40 hours of television in just six hours.
