A fire's broken out at Auckland's Northcote College, as firefighters strike

Fire and Emergency were alerted to the fire at around 12.17pm,

A spokesperson says a crew from Silverdale is currently in attendance, with multiple additional crews on their way to the scene.

A video taken from the school's field shows large flames shooting from the burning block and plumes of black smoke billowing into the air.

Union members walked off the job for one hour from midday today.
