Don't wait for a trigger to seek financial advice

Don't wait for a trigger to seek financial advice

A Financial Services Council survey of two-thousand New Zealanders shows those who get advice early .... save, invest and travel more.

Chief executive Richard Klipin says they've found, on average, those who seek help are four per cent better off down the track, than those who don't.

He says often people wait for a big event -- like a death, marriage or buying a house -- to contact an expert.

Klipin says it's time to shift the dial, because a well-planned financial life takes care of all of those issues.
