Ashley Bloomfield says the Traffic Light System could get a shake-up

Ashley Bloomfield says the Traffic Light System could get a shake-up

Covid ministers will discuss today whether Northland should join the rest of the country at Orange Level -- with an announcement expected on Thursday.

The Director General of Health says the traffic light system was designed for Delta -- not Omicron.

He says it could be adjusted, without returning to the Level Four and Level Three lockdowns of the past two years.

Bloomfield says changes to travel, and orders to work at home, could be added to the traffic light system.
