A busy day for our airports with tens of thousands of Kiwis jetting away for the summer holidays

A busy day for our airports with tens of thousands of Kiwis jetting away for the summer holidays

Up to 20-thousand Air New Zealand passengers are flying overseas today, for the airline's busiest international travel day in the lead up to Christmas.

More than 2.7 million passengers are travelling through the summer period on both domestic and international routes.

Air New Zealand's General Manager for Airports, Kate Boyer, says Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne and Los Angeles are proving popular destinations.
