Low and non alcoholic drinks appear to be on the rise

Low and non alcoholic drinks appear to be on the rise

Alcohol Beverages Council's survey finds 50 percent of Kiwis have tried a low-alcohol drink.

It also found 51 percent sometimes alternate between alcohol and non-alcoholic drink when drinking.

Executive Director Virginia Nicholls says low and no alcohol drinks have now entered the mainstream.

She says hospitality appears to have caught on, with huge variety available.
