Kris Jenner has announced the sale of her Hidden Hills mansion

The 69-year-old media mogul made her name as the Kardashian clan's self-styled "momager" in the property as it served as a primary filming location for their 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' show, but she has now listed the cavernous six-bedroom, eight-bathroom estate for $13.5 million

There is an option to purchase it fully furnished for an additional $400,000, according to the New York Times.

Kris told the newspaper in a statement: "I've shared so many unforgettable memories in this incredible home with my family, and I'm excited to see it start a new chapter with its next owners."

But the house in California is not to be confused with the separate property used for exterior shots of the Kardashians' reality show.

Kris and her former spouse, Caitlyn Jenner, 75, bought the home for $4 million in 2010, three years after 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' premiered.

It became a focal point of the series, with Kris' daughters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner living there as teenagers, while Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Rob Kardashian frequently visited after moving out.

Before listing the house, Kris worked with celebrity interior designer Ryan Saghian to replace most of the furnishings with pieces from European luxury wholesaler Eichholtz.

The Christie's listing for the home describes the property as "the epitome of luxury and elegance", highlighting its Mediterranean design and distinctive black-and-white checkerboard floor in the grand entrance hall.

Photographs by Wayne Ford showcase the estate's expansive grounds, which include a swimming pool, hot tub, and entertainment cabana equipped with a fireplace and television.

The primary suite, once used by Kris, features a private gym, spa-like bath, wet bar, and walk-out balcony overlooking 1.55 acres of land.

Residents of the guard-gated community have access to a swim club, tennis courts and a barbecue centre.

The listing states: "Live like a star in this legendary estate where timeless elegance meets Hollywood prestige."
