Brooklyn Beckham ignores the "rubbish" people say about him

The 26-year-old chef - who is believed to be estranged from famous parents David and Victoria Beckham - insisted he "never" worries about gossip and praised wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham for being supportive.

Speaking at the Ryder Cup Celebrity All-Star Match in New York on Wednesday (24.09.25), he told Daily Mail online: "There's always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife. Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we're happy.

"Everyone is always going to say rubbish. I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It's good fun."

Although Inter Miami - the team co-owned by David - were due to play New York City FC later on Wednesday, Brooklyn had no plans to stick around for the game or to stay in the city for the Ryder Cup because his wife needed him back at home in Los Angeles.

He said: "I have to go back. I left my wife with our four dogs on her own so I have to go back and help out and get back to work."

The Cloud 23 founder teamed up with former NBA star Toni Kukock to take on Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost and NFL quarterback Eli Manning in the golf tournament and Brooklyn admitted it was a tough crowd for the heavily-defeated Team Europe to face.

He said: "I feel like they didn't like me at all - but it was amazing.

"They gave me a bit of rubbish but I kind of expected it - being in New York, going against Eli... they were just laughing. But it is what it is, I was having fun out there. I did the best I could. It was honestly just really fun.

"Honestly, it was really nerve-wracking... but it was such a cool experience - I couldn't say no. It was amazing."

Brooklyn and Nicola married in 2022 and in August, they renewed their wedding vows in an intimate ceremony, notably without any of his family there.

In April, the couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary and Brooklyn, 26, gushed he falls "more in love" with his 30-year-old wife as time passes.

The pair showed the bouquet of pink roses Nicola received from her spouse, along with a note which read: "Dear Nicola, Happy anniversary baby x I love you so much and I continue to fall more in love with you every second x you make me a better man and I couldn't ask for a better partner x you are my soul and my rock x I love you so much Nicola xx Love brooklyn xxxxxxx 3 3.(sic)"
