    Defending champion Michael Vink has confidence in the riders around him heading into cycling's Tour of Southland


    The Christchurch rider is chasing his third consecutive title.

    He says he's largely had the same group of riders around him in the Transport Engineering-Talleys team for the past couple of years, which is important.



    The Tour of Southland begins today with a prologue team time trial at 3pm.
