Auckland's Northern Motorway is back to normal this morning -- after yesterday's commuter chaos

The right hand lane in each direction between Greville Road and Upper Harbour Highway had to be closed yesterday afternoon, after roadworks caused the road surface to lift.

Contractors have been working through the night to strip and re-pave the road.

All lanes have been repaired and reopened, ensuring a smooth run in for commuters this morning.
