New vehicle registrations have risen for four consecutive months

New vehicle registrations have risen for four consecutive months

Registrations last month were up 13.5 percent on registrations in October last year.

The Toyota Rav4 was the top-selling model, followed by the Mitsubishi Outlander and the Toyota Yaris Cross.

Motor Industry Association Chief Executive Aimee Wiley says there's been a big rise in rental buyers.

She says it could be a signal of consumer confidence returning.
