Suzuki's announced a voluntary safety recall for its VIN range 2025 FRONX Hybrid car - which was found to have a potentially life-threatening rear seatbelt fault

A failure with the retractor mechanism could cause excessive belt length to be released in a crash.

Suzuki's advising all owners of the car to immediately stop using the back seats.

It says it's carrying out an urgent investigation, and will take all necessary steps to address the affected vehicles.

Suzuki says it will contact owners of affected vehicles but customers are also encouraged to reach out to the Customer Call Centre themselves.
