    Snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott is playing down talk of being the favourite to win New Zealand's first ever Winter Olympics gold medal this weekend


    The 20 year old begins her Beijing campaign with slopestyle qualifying this afternoon, an event where she is reigning world and X games champion.



    Cool Wakushima is also among the 30 athletes who will look to finish in the top 12 to advance to tomorrow's finals.

    The first qualifying run gets underway at 3-45.
