    A statement from the women's K4 500 kayakers to open their season at the World Cup in Hungary


    Lisa Carrington, Alicia Hoskin, Olivia Brett and Tara Vaughan have set the fastest time in the heats to advance to the semi-finals.

    The sport's high performance manager Nathan Luce has paid particular tribute to Vaughan.



    Eight other boats advanced beyond their respective heats.
