    A bucking, bright start to the Michael Maguire NRL coaching era at the Broncos

    He's opened his tenure with a 50-14 thumping of the Roosters.

    Maguire led New South Wales to a State of Origin series win last year - and helped the Kiwis to a Pacific Championship triumph in 2023.

    He says his new players delivered on pre-season expectations.



    The Broncos made a mad dash to Toowoomba shortly after full-time due to Cyclone Alfred lurking off the coast of Queensland.
