    Warriors coach Andrew Webster insists Mitchell Barnett is making positive progress as he eyes an NRL return

    Barnett missed the Warriors' 42-18 season-opening win over the Roosters and will sit out next week's match against the Raiders as he continues to rehab a knee injury.

    The Warriors co-captain underwent intensive testing in Sydney to gauge how the injury is progressing.

    Webster says the testing helped get an insight into how close Barnett could be to a return.
