    Mike Karena will finally get his shot to play pro-basketball in Australia


    The Tall Blacks forward has joined the South East Melbourne Phoenix as an injury replacement for the Australian NBL season.

    Karena was planning on competing in the lower-ranked NBL1 competition in 2020 before Covid-19 saw it canned.

    He's previously played professionally in New Zealand and Spain.
