    To NBL preseason basketball..

Breakers import forward Freddie Gillespie could find himself in hot water after a late fourth-quarter ejection during his side's 90-79 loss to the Sydney Kings on the Gold Coast.

The American appeared to headbutt opposing guard Shaun Bruce, which led to a cut above the Australian's eye.

Gillespie was immediately disqualified from the game as part of the NBL's new crackdown on dangerous contact.

The incident has been referred to the Game Review Panel.
