    Kiwi basketballer Charlisse Leger-Walker has become the first Washington State women's basketballer to earn US Basketball Writers Association All-American honours


    The 19-year-old freshman is one of five players from the Pac-12 conference to be awarded the honours.

    Leger-Walker, who hails from Waikato, scored 20 or more points in 12 games during the 2020-2021 season, which set a new Washington State University freshman record.
