The Golden State basketball franchise expect to sign guard Steph Curry to a "supermax" extension

The Golden State basketball franchise expect to sign guard Steph Curry to a "supermax" extension

The 33-year-old has one season remaining on his five-year, 279 million dollar NBA contract.

He'll be eligible to sign a four-year, 298 million dollar deal through until 2026.

The NBA's supermax deals are salary cap exemptions allowing elite veteran players to sign extensions with teams that drafted them.
