    A third Kiwi boxer will be fighting for a world title early in the New Year


    David Nyika is putting his unbeaten record at pro level on the line against 26 and oh Jai Opetaia - accepting the fight on the Gold Coast in just three weeks' time after the Australian champion's original opponent had to withdraw with a busted ankle.

    Mea Motu and Joseph Parker have been building towards IBF bouts in super bantamweight and heavyweight divisions in January and February respectively.
