Australian cricketer Steve Smith's been forced to confront his past upon returning to South Africa for the opening T20 match in Johannesburg on Saturday morning

It's his first match in the Republic since the March 2018 sandpaper cheating scandal after which he received a year's ban.
Smith says he had a flashback entering the team hotel, which is where they stayed for the fourth test after the Cape Town shemozzle.
