New Zealand are 136 for three with an advantage of 340 against England at stumps on the second day of the third cricket test at Hamilton

New Zealand are 136 for three with an advantage of 340 against England at stumps on the second day of the third cricket test at Hamilton

Will Young reached his 10th half-century before pulling Ben Stokes to Jacob Bethell at deep mid-wicket for 60.

Kane Williamson's 50 and Rachin Ravindra's two after nightwatchman Will O'Rourke was dismissed for a duck.

Earlier, the visitors were dismissed for 143, a deficit of 204, but the hosts opted against enforcing the follow-on.

Matt Henry snared four wickets and Will O'Rourke and Mitchell Santner secured three apiece.

The key prize was O'Rourke getting Wellington man-of-the-match Harry Brook to chop on first ball.
