Australian cricket opener Usman Khawaja is at the centre of a dispute with Queensland over a decision not to play in the side's most recent Sheffield Shield match against South Australia in Adelaide

Australian cricket opener Usman Khawaja is at the centre of a dispute with Queensland over a decision not to play in the side's most recent Sheffield Shield match against South Australia in Adelaide

The 38-year-old cited recovery from a hamstring injury.

The match ended in a draw but was enough to send the Bulls through to the final against the same opponent next week.

Queensland general manager Joe Dawes has questioned Khawaja's version of events.
