    Getting the lay of the land is the top priority for new Black Sticks women coach Phil Burrows


    The most capped men's player in history has replaced interim coach Darren Smith and will lead New Zealand in a two-match series with Spain next month before the Hockey Pro League in February.

    The Black Sticks women finished fourth at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

    Burrows says he'll spend time with the team before implementing changes.
