Canada's streak without returning ice hockey's Stanley Cup over the border will stretch to 30 years

The Edmonton Oilers have been ousted with a 5-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in game six of the western conference semifinals, sending them out 4-2.
The Oilers were Canada's last hope of winning the title in their national sport for the first time since 1993 - when the Montreal Canadiens lifted the trophy.
