A new coaching gig looms for Warren Gatland

A new coaching gig looms for Warren Gatland

He's answered an SOS to coach the New Zealand Barbarians with appointed coach Paul Feeney unable to travel out of Auckland.

The squad, which is largely made up of fringe NPC players, will assemble on Friday for a game against a Heartland 15 in Taupo two days later.

Gatland will be assisted by former All Blacks Jarrad Hoeata and Roger Randle.
