Tayler Reid's hopeful a track debut will give him a boost ahead of the 2022 world triathlon season

Tayler Reid's hopeful a track debut will give him a boost ahead of the 2022 world triathlon season

The 25 year old's decided to mix up his first training block of the year by competing in the 3000 metres at the Potts Classic in Hastings this afternoon.

Reid hopes it'll give him an edge over his competitors.

Sprinter Zoe Hobbs, pole vaulter Olivia McTaggart and national hammer record holder Lauren Bruce are among the big names also in action in Hastings.
