Coach Vern Cotter is pleased the Blues men are finally playing to their potential.
After five losses in six games, the Super Rugby defending champs have recorded back-to-back wins by beating Moana Pasifika 36-17 at Eden Park.
Cotter says they were better all round.
The Highlanders have moved into 7th after a 43-20 win over the Fijian Drua in Dunedin.
The Reds remain fourth after a 39-26 loss to the Reds in Brisbane.
