Crusaders coach Rob Penney has outlined the benefit of having star fullback Will Jordan back in his side following a 33-25 win over the Hurricanes in the Super Rugby Pacific season opener in Christchurch

Crusaders coach Rob Penney has outlined the benefit of having star fullback Will Jordan back in his side following a 33-25 win over the Hurricanes in the Super Rugby Pacific season opener in Christchurch

Jordan ran for 108 metres, made three line breaks and picked up a try assist ... after missing the entire 2024 campaign due to shoulder surgery.

Penney says the All Black offered a boost for his team with his all-court game, including his distribution ... and it's great to have him back.

The action continues today, kicking off in sweltering Suva at 4.35pm as the Fijian Drua host the Brumbies ... then it's last year's grand final rematch at Eden Park, as the Blues host the Chiefs from 7.05pm ... followed at 9.35 by Moana Pasifika visiting the Western Force in Perth.

Catch our expert live commentary of the Kiwi teams' games on Gold Sport and iHeartRadio.
