A major headache for the Hurricanes with four players missing due to concussion for Saturday's contest against the Brumbies in Canberra

A major headache for the Hurricanes with four players missing due to concussion for Saturday's contest against the Brumbies in Canberra

The crocked quartet includes a trio of certain starters - hooker Asafo Aumua, lock Isaia Walker-Leawere and midfielder Peter Umaga-Jensen.

Riley Higgins and Billy Proctor both start in the midfield for the first time this season, with Proctor joining Brad Shields and Du'Plessis Kirifi as co-captains for the clash.

The brothers Savea are set to play together for the first time as Moana Pasifika team-mates.

Captain Ardie returns in the seven jersey, while older brother Julian is named on the bench for their clash with the Fijian Drua at North Harbour on Saturday afternoon.

A luxury for the Crusaders to rest and rotate for Saturday's southern derby against the Highlanders in Dunedin.

James O'Connor has been given the week off - while regular starters Tamaiti Williams and Chay Fihaki drop back to the bench.

Ethan Blackadder's the only injury casualty - a hamstring strain has seen him drop out for Tom Christie.

Coach Rob Penney says after having their depth tested last year - it's nice to be more strategic with their selections.

Great news for the Chiefs AND All Blacks with blockbusting loose forward Wallace Sititi returning earlier than anticipated from knee surgery.

Sititi will be on the bench for the ANZAC Day showdown against the Force in Mt Maunganui, but Damian McKenzie is out of the 23 because of a hand injury.

Beauden Barrett will start from the bench for the Blues against the Reds in Brisbane on Friday night due to illness.
