Warriors NRL-W coach Ron Griffiths is backing his rugby union converts to find their feet in this afternoon's match against the Eels at Mt Smart

Black Fern Patricia Maliepo and sevens internationals Michaela Brake and Tysha Ikenasio were among those getting their first dose of rugby league in the opening round loss to the Roosters.

Griffiths says there are teething issues, notably on the defensive end.

Kick off is at 1:50pm.

The Warriors men host the Tigers from 4.
