    New Zealand Rugby insists it won't have to work to lure back the coaches it wants to apply for the vacant All Blacks role


    Dave Rennie - a contender to take over from the sacked Scott Robertson - didn't take part in the 2019 process, nor 2023, when outcomes appeared pre-determined.

    Interim NZR chief executive Steve Lancaster says won't make pitches to coaches who haven't taken part previously.



    Joe Schmidt has reportedly ruled himself out.
