Interim Silver Ferns coach Yvette McCausland-Durie's been left to rue another single quarter lapse in their 68-51 second Constellation Cup netball test loss to the Diamonds at Sydney

New Zealand were blitzed 21-9 by Australia in the third stanza, having closed the margin to two goals at half-time.

A similar dip happened in the opening test, where they were outscored 24-11 in the fourth quarter.

McCausland-Durie says she turned to her bench, but couldn't stop the momentum.

Australia had 27 more attempts on goal than New Zealand.
