The struggling Southern Steel netball side are searching for a new coach

The struggling Southern Steel netball side are searching for a new coach

Reinga Bloxham has resigned after 11 seasons as an assistant and then eight years as head coach, "to pursue opportunities internationally".

The Steel are dead last in the ANZ Premiership, with just two wins this season... only snapping a wretched 21-game, nearly two-year losing streak in May.

But the Invercargill franchise won the title twice under Bloxham, in 2017 and 2018.

Her time down south dates back to her career as a player with the Steel's predecessors, the all-conquering Southern Sting.
