Miguel Porteous has continued the fine form of New Zealand's freeskier's and snowboarders in the US

Following on from brother Nico and Zoi Sadowski-Synott's medal winning X-Games performances, Miguel Porteous has won the Aspen Open.

It's a second tier event, but due to the lack of World Cup races because of Covid-19, it featured top US skiers who competed at the X-Games.

    Porteous is delighted.

Porteous competes on the same pipe at the World Champs in Aspen in a fortnight.
