Skier Alice Robinson has revealed a bout of bronchitis forced her out of last weekend's World Cup downhill races in St Moritz

The 21 year old fell ill after arriving in Europe from Canada earlier this month and struggled in last week's Giant Slalom in Sestriere finishing 16th.

As a result she skipped downhill training and the race in St Moritz before finishing 14th in the Super G.

Robinson will switch attention to Giant Slalom for back to back World Cup races i9n Semmering in Austria on the 27th and 28th of December.
