    The golden boot winner from the 1990 football World Cup has died


    Former Italy striker Salvatore Schillaci , known as Toto, scored six goals at his home tournament - helping his country to finish third.

    He had been diagnosed with colon cancer in 2022.

    Schillaci was 59.
