A first half full of action in this morning's final fixture in football's Premier League

A first half full of action in this morning's final fixture in football's Premier League

Liverpool have a 3-1 lead away to Tottenham.

Earlier - Manchester United suffered a resounding 3-nil home loss to now fifth-placed Bournemouth.

Wolves beat Leicester 3-nil, Everton and Chelsea played out a nil-all draw, while Fulham's clash with Southampton also finished goal-less.

Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano's lamenting a poor day defensively after their third straight loss in football's men's A-League.

Wellington conceded twice in either half - including an opening goal inside the first minute - in a 4-1 defeat away to Western Sydney Wanderers.

Ben Stokes has been left out of England's squad for cricket's Champions Trophy early next year due the hamstring injury he suffered in their third test defeat to the Black Caps in Hamilton last week.

The English test captain has not played an ODI since the 2023 World Cup - but was open to returning to white-ball international's following Brendon McCullum's appointment as head coach across all formats.
