An import spot has opened up on Auckland FC's roster in the days after their exit from the A-League playoffs

An import spot has opened up on Auckland FC's roster in the days after their exit from the A-League playoffs

Colombian striker Neyder Moreno is taking up an overseas offer and won't be back next season.

Meanwhile, the A-League's responded to Auckland FC's plea for clarification about the decision not to award them a tie-levelling goal in their semi-final loss to Melbourne Victory.

Auckland coach Steve Corica was outraged that officials deemed the ball was out of play before Logan Rogerson headed it in.

The league's told the club the VAR was inconclusive so they went with the onfield decision.
