The sister of a Christchurch woman murdered by her just-paroled rapist neighbour, is expected to stay involved in a coronial inquest over her death

A coroner is presiding over an inquest into Juliana Bonilla-Herrera 's death at the hands of Joseph Brider in 2022.

He'd been paroled just 72 days earlier.

Senior Herald reporter Anna Leask says Juliana 's sister Saray has dialled in from the US.

She says the sister wants to ask questions of some of the people giving evidence, from a human perspective.
