White Ferns captain Sophie Devine is eager to play on New Zealand soil for the first time as a world champion...but she may have to wait longer than anticipated

Today's ODI series opener against Australia at the Basin Reserve should've been the Kiwi side's first at home since lifting the T20 World Cup in October.

But bad weather is set to wash away any chance of play...crushing Devine's hopes of a victorious homecoming.
